I am an IT professional who has worked in a variety of disciplines within the technology spheres. My current role at AIG has allowed me to rotate through different teams at the firm. There, I have worked as a business analyst, UI/UX designer, data analyst, and platform engineer. Through these roles, I have worked through the project life cycle from the initial envisioning process through execution and implementation.
I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with degrees in both Information Science and Economics, as well as a minor in Mathematical Decision Sciences. In addition to my education, I had the privilege of serving on the executive board of Relay for Life as the chair of multiple committees as well as on Active Minds as Co-President, helping recruit members, raise money, and share our mission with those at the university and local community.
Through my work experience and my education, I have become experienced using a variety of tools and softwares. I have worked closely with our clients to gather requirements and design user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes using Axure and HTML/CSS/JS frameworks. Using these designs, I write and track user stories using Agile Central and JIRA under the SAFe Agile methodolgy. I also utilize tools such as Chef, Terraform, AWS, and Python to automate our platform infrastructure.
